I am proud to be an American!!

On August 20th I was able to take the Oath of Citizenship and become an U.S Citizen. I am very happy and excited to be a citizen of this country. What is funny to me is that I have always felt like a U.S Citizen except at the airport or at school when they ask you and then I would remember that I wasn't. I came here for the first time on vacation when I was 15 years old and since then my love for this country has grown. Later I came to go to school at the University of Oklahoma but I never intended to stay here until I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a mission in Carlsbad, CA. After that I knew it was going to be hard to leave this country. Now 10 years after coming to the U.S to go to school I became an U.S citizen!! I truly love this country and I am so proud to be a citizen of the United States of America!!!! Here are some pictures we took yesterday morning.

Congrats! That is awesome!

Ashley's hair is SO long! It has been forever since we've seen you guys. I was thinking just the other day that we needed to get together for dinner soon.

"And she's proud to be an American, where at least she knows she's free, and she won't forget..." NAME THAT TUNE! Good for you! You have always been so "American." (I don't know if that's good or bad.) We are so happy that you came to the US to study and so glad that Tim MADE you stick around! If I was there we'd take you out to a baseball game and have hotdogs and apple pie!
